We finally tried Cucina South after several years of coming to Amelia, and all I can say is we shouldn’t have waited. The food was exceptional, with service and ambience to match. I had a new item on the menu, seared sea scallops with linguini, shrimp and artichoke hearts in a delicate lobster sauce which complimented all the flavors. My wife had the basil salmon on risotto which was also top notch. If you’re on the south end of the island, you have to make this one of your dining stops.
