Worst service ever. The pizza isn’t that bad, but the service is the worst I have ever experienced in any restaurant! We came in to order to go and enjoy some beers while we waited. After telling the waiter that we were ordering to go and wanted beers, he disappeared for 10 minutes. After ordering our beers, he disappeared again for another 10 minutes. After getting our beers, we went outside to enjoy the view. We literally sat there for another 15 minutes with empty glasses, while multiple wait staff walked by, never asking if we needed another beer. As an owner of a restaurant, I tend to be empathetic IF an establishment is busy, but this was not the case here. There is absolutely no excuse for the horrendous service we received at Josephs. Get it together guys!
To much $ for marinara. Ordered the Bruschetta and some beers on Happy hour and the two of us each got a Spinach Roll that I did not realize that went up so much in price from a year or so since I have been there, but the kicker was ordering a marinara on the side that I swear used to be 50 cents each went up to $1.50 each, for a marinara! Are you kidding me! they probably have a giant pot of sauce for half, if not most of the food items they serve anyways and they are charging a $1.50 for one little containor, rip off!
Never again… Slow service and the food is not at all good. Worst pizza and sauce ever.
Best pizza. Cant get enough of the special pizza. Its crisp, hearty and fresh. The Gelato is tasty too. Great food for a great price. Im never disappointed
Another Great Time. My family frequently eats at Joseph’s and it is consistently, as in every time, a wonderful experience. Other than a new server once in awhile, the managers and staff have been around for years. They are friendly, yet professional. If you want a fast food experience, choose another restaurant. Everything is cooked to order. We have tried nearly everything on the menu including the brunch menu and have never been disappointed. We love the experience of dining at Joseph’s.
As Chef Ramsay would say, embarassing! The first warning sign was when we were greeted by very unenthusiastic, drab staff. I guess I should have ordered the pizza, but on the night I went, I was feeling like pasta. The menu choices looked good. I ordered the baked ziti with meat sauce and Italian sausage, and my wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Mine came with soup, so I ordered the Italian wedding soup. Well, it came out oily and lukewarm, which I’m sure you’ll agree there is nothing worse than cold soup. Next up was the main course. If there was an award for bland pasta dishes of the year, Joseph’s would get it. Mine was glopped full of a mound of cheese and tasted like the cook didn’t season it. And my wife’s was just as bland. And the ultimate insult was it was obvious the meatballs were frozen with their grainy texture and lack of flavor. For shame!
I love this place. The pizza is fantastic. There are places in Jville that could take a lesson from this place. The staff ALWAYS make you feel like they appreciate your business. The slice of pizza for $1.00 between 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG coming up from the beach and want a snack.
