I am shocked at their terrible customer service!! They refused to remake my sandwich or refund my money after they messed up my order. I will not be returning after the absolutely awful experience I endured today.I ordered a cheese steak that I modified based on what the menu specifies comes on the sandwich. I noticed about two bites in that they added a condiment that wasnt specified on the menu and I didnt order. This wasnt a big dealI understand that mistakes happen. I pointed this out and very politely asked if they could remake my food the way I had asked so that I could eat it.They refused to remake the sub so I could eat it, or refund my money, even after we involved a manager. The manager said thats just the way they do things there so they couldnt help me. What?! Apparently I should have guessed or expected mayonnaise would come on my cheese steak, so this is my fault? Im incredibly shocked at this atrocious lack of customer service. Ive never encountered this type of thing at a restaurant (or anywhere) before. I used to enjoy the food here and am amazed they are willing to lose a customer over $8.50 and their own mistake. Disturbing! Please dont waste your money!
Stick with the entrees. Been here on date night eating in and I’ve taken out the pizza. The pizza, meh not that impressed. Soft crust, somewhat greasy, not that good a flavor. The two entrees I’ve had were much better in quality and that’s what I’d recommend getting. Can’t get more intimate a setting as only 5 or so tables in the place. So far as I know, since my beloved Mario’s closed up…in the Beach area this is the best you can find for a quiet Italian restaurant. Give it a try.
