So I’ll start off by saying that Ragtime is a bit on the pricey side but mannnn it is good! My girlfriend and I chose to go there last night and it really was a great experience. We started off with their version of conch fritters which came with this cilantro-lime dipping sauce which was awesome. Then we were on to the main course. Their entire menu sounded so good but we both wanted yellowfin tuna so I ordered the seared tuna and my girlfriend decided on the sesame tuna and let me tell you they were both AMAZING! The seared tuna came in thick, hearty pieces that you could cut through like butter and the sesame tuna was seriously out of this world good! It came on a fried bed of spinach and was covered with a ginger remoulade and I have to say every bite was just as amazing as the last. I would definitely recommend you get the sesame. Also I don’t want to leave out their amazing service and beer. They have their own brewery and have some great choices which they encourage you to taste before you order so you feel confident that you’ve chosen the best for you! They don’t skimp you on the testers either. If you aren’t careful you could easily catch a buzz lol! So all in all if you want a fantastic dining experience with equally fantastic food, you cannot skip Ragtime. Just make sure that you brought a little extra cash and tip your waiter well!

Very cool space, diverse patrons…a guy nearby calling off spelling words to his daughter while sharing a meal, locals at the bar cheering about something, couples, families, a business group. The food… Delicious. We had a hummus appetizer with vegetables. The cucumbers and olives were very fresh and the hummus had a great flavor. Tonight we tried the seafood gumbo- wonderful. A good as when we vacationed in NOLA. The service was above average. We will be back!
As a local, I really enjoy Ragtime! There are lots of restaurant options in Atlantic/Neptune Beach but we consistently pick Ragtime. We love the different seating options; quite dinning area, bar, or live entertainment. They have a wide variety on their menu – which is great for picky eaters or large groups. I think they have the best salads at the beach; warm sesame chicken salad is my favorite but a close second is the hummus and goat cheese salad with grilled chicken. They brew their own beer and have a full bar and nice wine selection. They also have a great variety of appetizers – perfect for after work drinks and apps!
