Been here to eat well over5 timesfor dinner, purely because we live in the community and each time we were hopingfor a better result ….have to agree with some other guest. Service is super slow, even when there’s only 3-4 tables with 2-3 people absolutely no reason to be waiting an hour. The only thing that was consistent was the food was bad consistently bad every time …..over cooked, under cooked, slimy shrimp clearly old, dinner plates forgot entirely. We thought the pizza should be easy enough and a home run…..1st time placing a phone order they said 30-40 minutes, got there and the had no pick up orders for pizza. 2nd time pizza was ready and someone with very long brown hair made the pizza! Needless to say, that didn’t go over to well either and $25 dollars in the garbage,Don’t see myself donating to the cause any longer until I hear a name change, new chef and or management. I don’t like to give bad reviews, as every business can have an off day on any given day…..but not 5-6-7 times in a row and shelling out $70 plus each time is just not acceptable. The bar will keep them in business for awhile, as that part seems to be busy. However, I see them losing a ton of money on the food end. I would suggest closing the restaurant portion and stick to being a bar, as they are shooting themselves in the foot one plate at a time. The wait staff is great at apologizing, but sorry only cuts it the first few times.

The food was decent and we love the convenient location. However, the service is awful. Twice we’ve come and we waited almost an hour for our food and the restaurant wasn’t even full. The service is a big deterrent for us to return and we hoped it would be worth our wait. Unfortunately, it was not.

Being we know the owner my wife and I wanted to try his new place. We were greeted as we came in and seated. We ordered a caprese salad with prosciutto which was very good. We ordered pasta fagioli which was tasty and home made bread. We ordered veal Parmagiana along with room temp chianti. The meal was great! We had tiramisu and coffee for dessert. The service was great. On a scale of 1-10, it was a 9. Great job guys, we will be back!

Great Italian in Port Orange/New Smyrna. We just had a great experience at Amalfi’s. We were greeted warmly and had a great meal. We ordered appetizers that were all wonderful and our entrees were excellent! What a great experience sitting outside by the water and enjoying some great Italian food so close to home!We definitely recommend this restaurant to foodies and wine lovers alike! Great menu and wine list. Everyone should find something to love here!
