Very disappointing experience. The fish tacos were dry and flavorless. My daughter enjoyed the mussels, though. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
Not up to par. We have ate there many times and always loved it but not tonight. Fish did not taste the same, shrimp were small. We always love the onion rings and whatever oil they are using, it is all different from last Winter when we were here. We think that the restaurant has changed owners!!! OMG, why would they want to change what was working……
Waited over an hour.. We had a party of seven, so we had to wait for over an hour, and that would have been ok, but while we waited they served twelve other people ahead of us that came in after us. The waitresses were friendly. The food was just ok, and maybe if the manager had apologized, but we got no apology. I will never go back.

Outstanding fried haddock sandwich, outstanding fried oyster plate.. This is one of the best restaurants in new smyrna. great food. friendly staff. try the fried haddock sandwich, or the fried oyster plate.
Bland. I ordered the fish and chips, with mac and cheese and coleslaw. I was very disappointed. The restaurant seems stale and outdated. The food was very bland. The fish tasted like it came from a TV dinner. The mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box and the coleslaw had very little taste at all. The service was good and the sweet tea was great, other than that, unless you like spending $15 on a tv dinner, skip it, buy a cheap frozen dinner and sit in front of the TV at home.
New owners have ruined this great restaurant. Over cooked meals, smaller portions, and higher prices spell disaster. Chef Lars rated 2 stars, $$$.
