Lobster Roll. I’m from Boston and just love the lobster rolls. I love that we can get either the cold lobster salad roll or the hot lobster with drawn butter. Bringing visitors today for the lunch.
Super nice people, dog love, ice cream and doggie treat, and the most fabulous lobster roll I’ve ever had in Florida!
Overpriced sandwiches. My husband had the Original, I had the BLT and our son had the Ham and cheese. We each had a drink. Our lunch was about $34. We know some people are okay with it but we are not fans of animals in food establishments. There were several dogs in with their owners. We won’t be back.
Heavenly says it all. In New Smyrna for a girls trip, there were four of us and we all loved this place, the service was outstanding, the food was HEAVENLY, we had the Lobster Roll with butter, Grilled Cheese and Lobster Sandwich, Fish Tacos and Crab and Corn Chowder, everything was amazing even the side Caesar Salad you get. We would have never thought to get Grilled Cheese with Lobster, however another couple recommended it as we were looking over the menu and it was delicious.The Lobster was so flavorful, I just wanted to keep chewing and never swallow, it was the best lobster I have ever had and believe me I have eaten a lot of lobster. I live 2 1/2 hours away and would drive to this wonderful cafe to have their lobster roll, thats how good it was. I have seen reviews where people think this place is overpriced, I don’t agree, you get a whole lobster ready to eat (no cracking/no mess) with warm butter or mayo if you want it cold, with a great tasting salad, where in Florida can you get that for under what you pay here, no where I have ever been. We ate at many places including (The Garlic) while in New Smyrna Beach and this was our favorite.
Good food. Slightly expensive. This is a neat little cafe/bistro on Flagler avenue. Their soups are awesome (I’ve had the lobster bisque), their lobster rolls look amazing (haven’t tried yet, but I was watching them being made with my mouth watering) and their subs are decent.I ran in today to try their subs (got the turkey and swiss) and found out that bikers get a percent discount if you walk in with your helmet. It took the sting out of a $9 sub for me. Stick with the soups and cooked items, but if you are in the mood, it’s a nice treat once in a while.
Worth a visit- or two!. This place is definitely worth a visit when visiting New Smyrna Beach. Lots to choose from- soups and gelato are killer! Specialties are lobster rolls and lobster bisque- both worth a try too.
This Place Has It All!. WOW! This place consistantly has great food. I am local and never hesitate to refer friends here to eat. I recently had a new menu item, fish tacos. Very good. The staff is friendly and the menu, well, something for everyone. My vegetarian friends love the wraps and can get fresh Wheat Grass. They are known for authentic lobster rolls and homemade soups, especially, lobster bisque. I also like their homemade Sangria and Gelato. There aren’t many places out there that have it all. This place does!
