Our 1st visit to New Smyrna and our 1st visit to The Fountain at Little Drug Company. This is an old fashioned soda fountain pharmacy store and the lunch counter features some tasty food a pretty nice prices. Service is friendly and prompt. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger thinking it might be small…I had to remove one meat party as it was filling enough as a single. We also ordered a turkey sandwich with fries which was more than enough, and a tuna fish stuffed tomatoes which was delightful and fresh. We highly recommend this nice place on Canal St in New Smyrna.

A bit of NSB history still alive. (02/20/2013) I think we really just love the place for nostalgia’s sake. The Bush-Little drug store’s been operating since 1922. We used to come to the counter when we were kids, stopped in recently to get an ice cream cone, sundae and float at the counter. They serve Hershey’s, which is pretty decent ice cream (although you can get homemade elsewhere nearby in town). The pharmacy is fully functioning, should you find yourself downtown and need a scrip, or any of your usual sundries (gumdrops, greeting cards), personal items (shaving cream, deodorant), and novelties (souvenir key chains). Amazingly, they still deliver prescriptions and gift wrap items bought from the store. A llittle bit of NSB history still alive, check it out!
