We had take out for our 1st visit to this restaurant last night. Sausage and mushroom pizza, spaghetti, meatballs and sausage. All were very flavorful. A nice alternative to the chains. We would order from this restaurant again.
(3/7/2016) On the mainland we always go to Stavro’s for our Greek Salad and pizza. On the beachside, guess it’s Manny’s. Stopped in for lunch after a morning at the Canaveral National Seashore on a weekday. Service was friendly and efficient enough. Interior leaves a lot to be desired for ambiance. Greek Salad was what I’m used to (Florida-style), a bowl constructed of half shredded lettuce and onion, half julienned salami and mortadella and crumbled feta cheese, token tomato slices, black olive, and pepperoncini. Love that they have your own serving bottle of dressing on the side at the table (I do love my condiments). I’ve always loved the simple red wine vinegar, olive oil, and Italian herb seasoning dressing (maybe a touch of sugar) that they do here in Florida (can’t say it’s authentically Greek, but it’s tasty). Pizza and Stromboli were really disappointing. Crust for pizza very much like from frozen and crust was kind of cardboard-y. My Lunch Special of 2 slices of cheese obviously had sat around for a very, very long time, and were re-heated maybe several times before I got them. The Stromboli, while stuffed with a fair amount of chopped beef, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions was deemed bland, as was the accompanying marinara. I’m not planning a trip back, but I could see this place could be popular with teenagers and families needing to feed large crowds with inoffensive and inexpensive food while on vacation at the beach.
