Service was awful. I was hanging out with a group of new friends and I (alone) was kicked out of the bar for doing absolutely nothing. I wasn’t even speaking, I was listening to the group’s conversation. The bouncer was aggressive and continuously threatened me (an innocent customer). After pleading and losing my case, I tried to go back in to get my $160 Ray Ban sunglasses from my table, and they refused to let me look for them.All around sh#t-show. DO NOT GO HERE. Plenty of other, respectable, restaurants/bars in the area.
What a fun environment! Super cute and sweet wait staff! The table ordered the summer chips for the app which smelled delicious and were gone in minutes. So there was no debate they were pretty awesome. I ordered the Frankenstein wings and they were perfect ! I usually order my wings hot but had to try their house sauce. Was not disappointed! 2 people ordered the fish sandwich and they loved it. The kiddo ordered the chicken strips and they were awesome too. The only thing that was no Bueno was the potato skins. They tasted old. We sent them back and they apologized and took them off the bill. I would mos def go back. Laid back atmosphere with friendly people and great food!

Where are the beans? It did look great, what a sad state of affairs. There was nothing of a burrito here, change the name or don’t serve it.Also, we ordered a hamburger medium. Not very good either. Too dry, bread and burger.
Frankenstein Wings Grilled. These are the best wings in Florida. Period. Frankenstein wings finished on the grill are sweet, savory, spicy, juicy, tender, and delicious. Coupled with the homemade blue cheese dressing and some of the best fries in town, Merk’s has figured out chicken wings.But that’s not all! Great sandwiches, huge salads, delicious peel and eat shrimp, appetizers that are awesome, quick and friendly service, and a wide selection of beers and alcohol. One of the best restaurants in town.28 Feb, 2012Best wings I have ever eaten.. Seriously Merk’s Bar and Grill serves the most delicious chicken wings available for miles. The Frankenstein sauce offers a sweet/spicy mix that will leave you craving it fortnightly. Have them finished on the grill for a really nice glaze. I have had wings at every restaurant for miles and no one holds a candle to Merk’s.
One of the best wing spots I’ve been to so far!. I stopped in this joint the other day not knowing what to expect and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and upbeat, you’d almost think they were happy to be working here! The drinks were great and the wings were truly some of the best wings I’ve had so far! I ordered mine what they call Frankenstein Wings grilled, I couldn’t stop eating them even after I was full! Great job Merk’s!

This place is great!! Food and service are consistantly good and atmosphere is always with a laid back key west style feel. Surrounded by waterways in each direction though it is not waterfront, can still come by boat and walk to location. Good beer selection and full bar. Try it, it’s good stuff!!
