If you’re looking for ambience this is NOT the place. If you’re looking for great seafood this IS the place! Discovered Oceans while heading out of town with our family last year and we WILL be back! Again, not fancy, just GREAT SEAFOOD! The stuffed grouper was very tasty and the food came out hot and was plentiful.
Looks like a dive but you will be sorry if you leave. The best fried shrimp we have had in a long time and we live in the Florida Keys. Can’t say enough about the great seafood.
A rose amongst thorns. This place is rated at 95% so my wife and I had to eat there just to see how correct the rating was. Very correct. If you go there to either eat or to pick up some fresh fish to take home to cook, you are in for a gastric feast. The food, including side dishes like their unbelievable french fries, is some of the best in the central Florida area. Do not go there for a refined atmosphere but do go there for great food and quick service with reasonable prices. A complete dinner for the two of use with extra sides and drink was under $40.. A real pleasure. Thank you Oceans Seafood.
Grilled anything is great!
RACIST. I have a biracial family. When we walked in, the women at the front barely spoke to us. They finally pointed to the menu. After us, three different white people came in and the women at the front friendly greeted them and shared the specials. My son went to the restroom and had trouble with the lock. When we went to check on him, a man working in the back was sitting there laughing while my child cried at the door trying to get out. Then when we got back to our seats a girl working in the back peaked out looking and laughing at us twice. The food was decent but these people are sick. Never again.
09/02/2014. Food was hot and freshly prepared. No debit card use for under $10 so a single person ordering a fried fish basket needs cash. Shrimp needed more seasoning. Order at the counter and pick up when ready. Lady working the counter could be nicer especially to folks who don’t know how this restaurant works…Overall rating would be 3/5.
I loved my fried grouper sandwich. I think my wife’s shrimp was farm raised as I know this was not fresh shrimp.
