No garlic. My wife and I visited Tianos last night. The restaurant itself needs updating, but the singer that was performing did a great job getting the diners involved in the songs. The food was mediocre at best. We have never seen caprese with cherry tomatoes! My wife had the eggplant which tasted like cornmeal and I had the lasgne which looked sad on the plate. It had a few small pieces of meat, but was lacking in flavor and size. A little garlic would do wonders for the meal. Overall, I would give it a 2 1/2 out of 5.
Located on golf course. The food was absolutely superb! Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and the Veal Parmesan. Delicious. Only downside a large party (20+ people) showed up as we ordered, putting a strain on the waitstaff. The Cannoli we had for dessert was the best we had ever tasted!! Will definitely be returning!
Excellent Food and Service. This place is a diamond in the rough. We had an excellent experience all around. The servers were a good team and were both funny and professional. Food was good and came to the table hot. Reasonably priced and a nice atmosphere. We will be back!
Awesome!!!. I cannot say enough good things about Tiano’s. The food was terrific. There were 4 of us and each had a different entree. All were delicious and well presented. The bread was good too. Also, the service was outstanding. All of the staff we came in contact with were welcoming and eager to please. Will definitely go here again the next time we are in town.
Where is it???. After driving for 15 mins located the address on the newspaper given by the condo office. No restaurant, nothing in the area, except a place for Homecare services… and a golf course!! Soo 4 Canadians who thought to take a chance, drove off and spent our money elsewhere, sorry there is not more signage in the area, but we really felt this place had closed???
Best bang for the buck. First let’s discuss the service. I was met by the most delightful server I have ever seen anywhere. She was courteous, friendly, and had a sincere smile. So many times we are met with the obligatory response and pose, not here. At Tiano’s they are genuine and sincere in their appreciation for their customers. Next, the dcor. I found it quaint and, dare I say, cozy. Some booths along the wall, tables in the center, and the color scheme and authentic wood grain combination gave it an old world feel that was complimented beautifully with the many Italian artists playing softly in the background. Now for the main course, the food. I ordered the Stromboli. The portion was incredible. I am a big eater and even for me it was more than enough. The marinara sauce was a perfect compliment to the Stromboli without overpowering the intense flavorful experience of the Stromboli. For desert I had the Tiramisu. For me the desert must follow with the same flair for excellence. I was not disappointed. The Tiramisu here at Tiano’s was a desert delight. Light and airy on the exterior with a hidden surprise. Hidden beneath that soft exterior that literally melted in your mouth was a robust flavor experience that was as delicate as it was rich and rewarding. The balance was extraordinary, and the overall impression one is left with after dining at Tiano’s is wonderfully satisfying. I will be back, you can be assured. There is so much on the menu that one can’t help but wonder where the journey will take me next.
Outstanding!. We visited Tiano’s last night and were most pleased to have discovered such a great Italian restaurant not too far from our home in Astor. The food and service were outstanding and the service was efficient and friendly. If you like Italian cuisine put Tiano’s on your list of places to try. I think you will be back the next time you get the feeling that you need that little Italian fix.
