  Went with friends on Sat. nite. got my check with scribbles & crossed off stuff, server said not to worry, bill is only $35. Gave her my card & when she brought it back, it was for $134.99. I pointed it out, she brought another bill for $35.98 & told that wrong one had been credited. I tipped over 20% as food & service was good. I saw it on my online acc’t on Mon., again on Tu. & on Wed. I went in & spoke to the owner as my account was running low. I explained that I had paid about $177 for a $35 meal and needed the money. I was advised to contact my bank. Period. They also have fed my wife who is gluten intolerant meals with gluten on two other occasions. I live nearby and wanted to give them another chance. Oh well…. back to That’s Amore or Flagler Tavern.

  Ok, so if you are looking for good NY style pizza in New Smryna, stop reading this and don’t go here. Simple as that. I went in with my family looking for good pizza – it just did not come through. The restaurant got a nice crowd but did not have enough space for the people. We watched the manager rearrange tables for 15 minutes, making very little sense. He made rounds to every table but shmoozed more than checking up on the customers. When our pizza came our waitress put the pizza tray down wrong and the pizza fell on the table. Like… fell on the table. To make matters worse, she picked the pizza up with her hands, 4 slices. and put it on our plates. As if we were going to eat the pizza she picked up with her hands. We waited, thinking she would apologize and order a new pizza for us but we had to politely tell her that we were not going to eat the pizza she dropped and touched. VERY awkward. Not once did the manager come to our table to see if we were ok, yet apologize. Which would have been ok but he made his way to literally EVERY other table (again, not a big restaurant). He tried to make small talk about how busy he was as we were out the door of the restaurant, which was more of an insult than anything. Nothing was taken off our bill. Only reason I give 1.5 rating and not 1 is that the other pizza that didn’t fall/get touched by our waitress had pretty good flavored toppings (bacon). Beyond that, AVOID this place. Basically a 1 STAR. Sorry to the staff, as most looked very nice and very hard working.

  Nice owners. They were very pleasant and appreciative of our business. We did carry out and enjoyed the pizza. The crust was very good and the sauce was unique. Since we used carry out we had no wait.
