Food is good but I would probably never go back. The few times I have visited this location, I have noticed several health violations………employees not wearing hats, gloves, hair nets………..employees touching their face and then touching food. Yuck!
Delicious and Fairly Priced. The chicken is really good as long as it’s fresh. Most of the sides are good too.
Second try. Went back and got chicken tenders/strips with a biscuit, baked beans, and potato salad (had to get them another try). The chicken was OK. It was not as good as the regular bone-in chicken but not bad. Also the chicken had less saltiness compared to my visit before, more like a normal salt level. The baked beans had a good smoky flavor and were very sweet. The potato salad was much less salty than before, more like normal salt profile, BUT had much more pepper than the other time (very peppery). Now I’m not sure I would go back because I fear the inconstancy. Overall the chicken was good each time.06 Jun, 2014Juicy chicken with a crisp outside. Not sure if they salt brine their chicken but was a little salty for me. The potato salad was fresh and tasted good but way too salty. The coleslaw was fresh but had an off taste- not bad but not what I would order again. The roll/biscuit was excellent, moist, fresh, and just melted in my mouth. I would go back for the chicken and different sides.
Hideous food. Ive given this place three chances. All three times the chicken tasted like it was cooked HOURS ago. The chicken fingers were cut so thin it was like eating fried cold breading. Mashed potatoes obviously came out of a box and the gravy out of a bag. If you are ever in the mood for chicken that has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours…..youll LOVE it! If you get it to go…..be sure to save the bag so you have something to vomit into.
GREAT !!!. They have the best fried catfish in the panhandle! Who would think catfish at a chicken place? Danny’s, and they do it well. They also have fresh hand battered (like everything else) mushrooms that are amazing. all the sides are very good with the exception of generic instant mashed pot’s BUT that’s the 1 and only downside (even they are good) the lima’s mmm,… Don’t pass this place up even if you’re not hungry, you’ll be happy you did!
The food is awesome. Name brand chicken very close by, but would rather go here. Prices are great and so are the employees.
