OVERPRICED and MEH. We picked up some food on the way home. The food was overpriced and unremarkable. We haven’t been back since.

Wish it was still Hamburger Daves!. I have been going to Jim N Nicks ever since it was Hamburger Daves. Unfortunately they aren’t still HDs because they went wrong somewhere. Starting with the price. I understand everything’s home made, but how greedy can you get? Three chicken tenders, fries and drink for $10. For 3 meals we spent $38 and only got 2 drinks. We are talking about a drive thru here! The food is decent, but the fries are never crispy. Inconsistant at best, you have to catch them when the food is fresh which seems to change daily. The cheese biscuits with honey butter, mac n cheese, and collards are about the only things consistantly good. These are also the 3 cheapest things you can possibly make, so it makes me wonder why the prices are so high at a place where the overhead is so low.10 Feb, 2014Where do I start?. Great Sides. I’ve eaten this enough to know that it isn’t always consistent, which is a shame. It has never been bad, but sometimes could be better. That being said, when family comes, we usually get some take out from Jim N’ Nicks. Usually, we order the pork family meal. I love all of their sides! They do sides very well, which is usually my favorite part with BBQ places. As stated by others, their cheese biscuits are AWESOME. I always order double.

I really like Jim N Nicks, however I typically get their pig in the garden salad with turkey and Italian dressing. It has bits of bacon and romaine lettuce. The turkey is sliced on the side and it comes with two of their delicious cornbread muffins. Recently my husband got a pork sandwich and fries. Omg, best fries I’d ever had. Four days letter we went back and thought we’d try their burgers-some BBQ places have great burgers. They aren’t one of them. They were greasy, tasted like a griddle and were falling apart. We also each got fries and they were completely different. They didn’t have the seasoning on them they had the first we tried them and they were not their ought cooked. I won’t be going back for a while, but they do have great service and good cornbread muffins.

I’m not a ‘foodie’ but the pulled pork, beans, & biscuits are AMAZING!
