Applebee’s, Cleveland Ave, N. Fort Myers, Fl., Growlings in the tummy and chatter. First off this was the only eatery except a fast food joint nearby after a movie. The food… I got a new item of a pork chop with apple sauce and a maple something and 2 sides’ green beans and fries. The fries were just fries. Green beans with garlic, a step above HS cafeteria food. The chop was ok a bit tough. Maple sauce just plain nasty. The apple sauce was too little but sweetness saved it.Chatter…The service was excellent.BUT If you want NO human interaction , but bringing your food, you can have it… A computer pad that does it all plus games and of course the dreaded commercials.Why anyone comes here is beyond me. Maybe the drinks and prices..Obviously people with very very low expectations of what good food can really taste like. Or maybe like me no other choice. Ahh there are just too many folks who has no idea what good cuisine is. 🙁 They accept mediocre stuff.

This is a bait and switch organization. They should really have a class action lawsuit brought against them. We know of at least 10 people that accumulated points on their cards only to arrive to use the points cards and be told the promotion ended. No notification dates no warnings. Called national office and they say it was the local Florida and Georgia operators promotion. To bad nice places and reasonable food – just a bunch of cheaters running the places in my opinion and that of our lunch group! Do not expect us back Applebee’s!
This is probably the better Applebees around. Bartenders are great and so are the regulars. Comfortable place to watch the game and get cold cold beer and fresh burgers.
