We ordered Pizza for Mother’s Day and were truly disappointed, not only in the pizza but the owners treatment of customers. We have ordered quite a few times from here, and have enjoyed the pizza. I always order cheese pizza with extra cheese (which I PAY EXTRA FOR) and normally it is real cheesy. When were received the pizza, the pizza did not have extra cheesy, in fact it hardly has enough cheese to cover the sauce. We called the restaurant and the owner was very rude (we were not being difficult). Stated we received extra cheese in the past, so why are we complaining, he would give us extra next time we order. First off, I paid for extra cheese ($52 for 2 pies and a terrible greek salad), it should be on the pie. We were willing to drive and pick up a correct pie. He was very rude and told us not to call him anymore and hung up on us. There won’t be a next time. We will spend out money at restaurants where they value there customers, since without customers they would not have a business. He was speaker phone and everyone present could not believe how he treated us. Sorry Bella Mia, you have lost loyal customers and any referrals. To bad you don’t value your customers, since they keep you in business.

In my on-going quest for the best pizza in town, I went to Bella Mia’s tonight. I’ve driven past them for years but had never gone in.The place is very clean and has a warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. The wait was not very long.I ordered an appetizer of Garlic knots and a Meat lovers pizza. The appetizer appeared soon enough with the pizza right behind it. Ive never understood why most Italian restaurants do that. An appetizer by its very nature should be first, with the main course following when the appetizer is finished. Of course, that might just be me. I was very disappointed with the garlic knots as they were burnt both top and bottom and I dont mean a little singed, but black, (see photos), what I could eat from around the incinerated parts was very tasty. If I owned a restaurant and people were giving me money for my cooking? I would never send something like that out. Ive worked as a baker for years and they really should have started over with it. Moving on to the meat lovers pizza. Ive been trying a lot of pizza lately and I have to say this was one of the very best pizzas Ive had in a long long time. Hot, juicy, the mixing of the flavors just burst out onto the tongue and did a little dance of happiness and joy. The crust was thin and crispy, just enough sauce to hold it all together.So. One winner and one loser for this trip. Based on this trip alone, I would recommend going to this restaurant but just for the pizza.
