Me and my cousin come here for date night all the time, throw back thursdays are the greatest because you feel like you are in the 1950s, the staff really get into the scene and even use slurs from the 50s, i feel right at home at cactus jacks
Super racist and entitled people. They address their staff ass the n-word word and say it with as much pride as they do anger. I hope these people the worst of luck.
What a trashy, garbage establishment. Better food, drinks and atmosphere at the dump. Hopefully the place goes under and new ownership can come in to turn it into a tourist destination.
I was here when a woman and man (I’m assuming the owners as I left before I could find out…) went off on a young Hispanic worker at the restaurant. For some reason they were yelling the N word over and over and screaming at this young man. Perhaps he made a mistake, I’m not sure. But it was scary crazy. I never dreamed this was an establishment for racists and trash. I’m so shaken up. That poor young man being attacked with such hate. And all of us that had to witness it. These are the OWNERS of the restaurant making the scene. We all got up and ran out of the area since the owner was trying to attack the worker. I mean, she had to be held off by 2 or 3 men. DO YOU WANT TO EAT AT A PLACE LIKE THIS? Ft Myers is filled with fun places to dine and enjoy what SWFL has to offer. I would NOT go here.
Cactus Jack Waterfront Bar & Grill, Marinatown Ln., N. Fort Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.As the name implies it is on a river waterfront. So for those very very very few day that you are allowed to enjoy comfortable weather this is a good place to go.My server Cory did an outstanding job.I went with beef enchilada. No fried beans. :-(I will say this. I was surprize about the black beans. It actually had flavor. You could see onions in it. Unlike every other place I have tried where the black beans are bland.Ahh the beef enchilada and rice. Nothing to write about. Just bland rice on the side with typical floridian wannabe Mexican food.Maybe other good stuff but pass on this entree, unless you like black beans.This has a good ambience feel. So give it a try for that. Prices at lunch were reasonable.

EAT HERE!!!!!. What a difference a day makes, I spoke to the manager, explained what happened, she was so apologetic and truly sincere. She asked me to come in and she would refund our money from dinner. My husband and I went in, were offered our money back or a free lunch/ dinner, we decided what the heck and try it again. Service was superb, food was excellent, could not ask for better!!!!!!! Will we go back after today’s experience, heck ya!12 May, 2014Do not eat here!!!!!!!!!!!!. Service is terrible, food was not bad if you get everything you ordered which I did not and then still had to pay for my meal. NO manager on duty on Mother’s Day dinner, really ?????? Our server had to be the bartender for entire restaurant which the entire patio was full so we only saw her for our drink order which we never did get from her, the busboy after about 15 minutes finally brought us our sodas. She did come and take our food order but she did not ever come back to our table until our meal was finished and our table was cleared. We would have liked a drink refill but need I say more…… I tried discussing it with her but there was nothing she could do for us. I tried talking to the server that was in charge for the evening but she was busy vamping and then hid in the kitchen, will I ever go back???? being made to pay for food I never got, I don’t think so.
