Pot Roast, with green beans, mashed potatos/gravy and cornbread ( cornbread a southern thing) 10.50 ( NOTE… They only accept CASH…no checks, no credit card or debit cards)The green beans are cooked with bacon/onions. mmmm, pot roast, just fork fall apart and plenty of mash taters with gravy. Lets not forget the southern addition of cornbread.A wonderful comfort foods.Then to top it off . A Malted vanilla shake to go.Service is excellent and attentive.Well I have revisited Jax. You still need to pay with cash , no plastic or other forms of imaginary currency.The staff is still top notched. Helpful and delightful.Food is home style ,home made , in house ….I had fried chicken ,real mash potatoes and country gravy. But I must say I was not too thrilled with the biscuit this time. Not sure if it was me or the cook had a off day. Oh yes this is another place that makes it own sweet tea. It was great.So if in the market for good basic american food at a reasonable price drop on in and enjoy.
