Out Standing Authentic fish & chips. I have been anticipating fish & chips for the pass 2 months. My swim buddy turned me on to OK UK British Fish & Chips. I was not disappointed. They even have Sarson Malt vinegar. The real deal from England. Created 1791 in London.. I got the King size fish & chips. An inch thick beer batter Atlantic cod. It was cooked to perfection. Lightly brown on the outside juicy and moist on the inside. It was delished. Along with hand cut chips,( thick cut french fries for you non world travelers). A side roll and coleslaw. Cole slaw was good not great. But you come here for the beer batter fish.Prices are reasonable for SWFL. It is tucked away in a strip mall. A bit hard to find but when you need a fix of fish & chip worth the trip.AUGUST 2016,Uk-Ok Fish and Chips, Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers, Fl, A growling of the tummy and chatter.Fish and chips. Tasty,crunchy and fried. Theses are one of the best English style in the area. Large portions cooked correctly. The side of coleslaw is excellent. Plus a bonus of a roll with butter.You must sit down and eat here…Because by the time you get home it will become soggy. Then defeating of the crunch is gone.They have excellent tatar sauce, with Number one brand of Malt Vinegar. Kings order ( 1/2 pound atlantic cod) of fish and chips.Along with gourmet malt vinegar from merry ole England.Always hot, crispy and flaky fish. Outstanding stuff. Plus you get steak sized french fries.(chips)If you desire authentic English fish and chips, this is one of only two in the area worth going for to fill the belly. The other is in the Cape.Do not waste your tastebuds ,time or money going to the all you can eat fish fry. Come here and get the real deal. You will not regret it. If you have a sophisticated pallette take it from a basically carnivore.Tip… DO NOT ….DO NOT… Have it to go… It will steam inside the bag and RUIN the crispy texture of the meal. Sit down and enjoy.Service is great.
