our fav Thai place is closed on Mondays, so we went to this Thai House ii. NEVER AGAIN. Don’t waste your time or money. The food was bland, and we asked the Waitress for some Thai chilis in fish sauce. She looked perplexed and disappeared for 10 minutes (the food is getting cold), and when she returned she brought some fish sauce and some Chinese red chili sauce. We protested. She said they don’t use fresh chili in their kitchen. They use cayenne pepper powder! We told her that our fav Thai place always served us chilis, and she said they must be frozen. Is she out of her mind? The dcor is kitchy with carved wooden table tops and everything someone would expect to find in a fake Thai restaurant. The prices were ok ($14.00 for pad thai noodles) but when you tasted the food, the prices were not ok. The service was distant and when they saw we were not happy, they kept their distance, not trying to fix anything. NEVER AGAIN.
