If youre looking for a place to have breakfast this weekend, Bagel Bar East is the move. Like the best of New York Delis, they offer an ample selection of bagels with a seemingly infinite collection of fillings, eggs, pancakes, waffles, specials for breakfast and lunch, and to-go meals for those explosive weekends. They only open from 6:30am to 3pm and sell no alcohol. miamismith.com
I have tried to like them but…. …they make it very difficult. The food is good — when you can actually get what you ordered, or anything at all. I have a business in the area and regularly try to order breakfast or lunch. Ham and cheese omelettes are often missing one or the other. Call and place a lunch order, walk over to pick it up and no one can find it. If you add that to the surly front desk cashier and the morning deli men with the frat-boy attitudes, well, it just isn’t worth the trouble. Plenty of other places who appreciate the business in the area.
It’s good… Bagels how can u mess it up?. It’s a good father and son operated place. Good bagels, good breakfast and watch where you park. Only complaint; they don’t cook the Cornedbeef there. It’s open and sliced stuff. Nothing beats properly cooked Cornedbeef.
Wish it was better. Service is s.l.o.w and pricy for what you get. Don’t order bacon there! Bagels are good but they found a way to serve cold eggs and breakfast potatos not good at all. Wish they made the corned beef rather than open a package and slice it up. Not too original. There are better bagels around. Parking is insane there and road construction makes it even more challenging to fine there. After 9am expect to pay $10. For scrambled eggs…
Great Food/Wonderful Specials. Another family owned Bagel restaurant. This is a sit down restaurant with wonderful daily specials for breakfast and lunch. It closes at 3 pm. The waitresses have worked here for awhile, and know the regulars. You can share a lunch sandwich, as they are gigantic!
