On vacation and was just looking up places to eat late at night. Found this gem and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. My girlfriend , sister and I had all got wings but my girlfriend wanted nachos in addition to our wings and my sister wanted a cheesesteak. I loved that they didn’t put the cheese on the nachos and let us dip them at our own leisure. Only complaint from my sister about her sandwich was that the beef was cut thicker than usual. Everything was still very surprisingly good. Don’t pass this place up! You’ll be missing out on some good food.
We have been eating here since they opened and have had everything on the menu at least twice my fav. Is the Mexican pita or the steak burrito , and the Pizza is hands down the best anywhere when I take the guys to lunch or the family to dinner everyone wants Evios .. Thanks guys for opening in our area
RIP Roxy, Long Live Evio!. We were disappointed to see Roxy’s wither and die, taking their good burgers, dogs and wings with them. Now, with Evio’s, we have ANOTHER pizza joint in Northeast Miami’s Biscayne Corridor. Slices, an innovative rodizio-style pizza place, also departed recently, so who knows which will be the last places standing? Will the list include (Flora’s) Eastside? Sir Pizza? Steve’s? Mario the Baker? Lord knows there’s a ton of profit in flour and water if you have the right stuff. Evio’s, located right next to a big culinary school, manages to turn out a flavorful, well-baked pie consistently and with decent-quality ingredients. Their crust is a light and crispy thin version that has a bit of chew. Topped with a tomato-based sauce that is neither too sweet nor bland and the usual stuff, it’s better than most. The menu also includes a small selection of burritos stuffed with a choice of fillings that rivals Chipotle and surprisingly well-made side dishes. We like the choice of beers and TV viewing angles for those sporting events that can’t be missed. Service is secondary to the food, although it’s friendly and prompt. All in all a thumbs UP.
GREAT SPOT. Have been eating here since they opened .never been disappointed . Food carefully prepared and fresh. Plentiful . Very reasonable.
Service is excellent, food is delicious. Just had their tempura ice cream and is to die for. Highly recommend this place!
