TASTELESS OVERPRICED STAFF BORED. I stopped by one Saturday at lunch time, and there was no one—-I mean not a single soul—-in the place. I asked the waiter which vegetarian curries were available, she looked confused. She handed me the menu. I asked which vegetarian curries were available a second time. She decided to ask the kitchen. The Kitchen responded ‘what do you want’?? I asked what kind of vegetarian curries were available for a 3rd time. Oh…you want to know what kind of vegetarian curries we have? I was so frustrated, I asked if they had a weekday bufffet, I would try then. The bored looking waitress said yes. I returned on a weekday to try the matter paneer, mixed vegetables and mushroom korma. INCREDIBLY, they all tasted like nothing. Nothing at all. Not even bad, not good. Like zero taste. The waitresses (the one from last Saturday and a more knowledgable indian woman) looked BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS. I went to wash my hands and the non-Indian woman waitress had her head down and was sleeping at the side table. It was sort of depressing to think of eating there. If anyone knows of a good inexpensive Chaat shop, please respond!!!!! thank you for reading!!!!
Worth another try if it’s been awhile. I was most pleasantly surprised, as was my similarly picky cousin, when we revisited this place with family after not having been there in years! Really yum. The palak paneer is to die for! Just fabulous. My son and I would often take out the vegetarian meal between the 2 of us and get 2 meals each! We marveled at how they made money with their generous serving sizes. The bottom line is that it’s different than what it was many years ago and you might want to try again…
I ordered the chicken tandoori and a mango nectar juice, and I was a little skeptical of the price, but when the portions came out and the food smelt so good all the way home, I was hooked. I am NEVER letting this place go!
Food is great better than other fancy shmancy ones in miami buffet small but good. often not busy so you get a lot of individual attention. lunch lady has an attitude but dinner lady is very nice and helpful.
Horrible, dirty, tasteless food, lame service. Paid $35 for one person dinner! Very disappointing!
This was my first Indian experience, and it was a good one. My wife, son, and I had the place to our selves. That made it a little more special because we got all the attention we needed without having to compete. The food was very flavorful and inviting also, the drink with yogurt and mango nectar. Overall we had a great time. I would definitely recommend for other first timers.
Bad service, too pricey and the food was decent. I recommend if you know a different Indian Rest to go to the one you know!
