Not a good experience. When I went to Luna star cafe I was surprised by the menu so check it out before you go. The beer selections was nice. I went for open mic night for a friend. The worker or owner came on stage and made it really awkward and said you have to order something, there is a 7 dollar minimum you cannot just listen to music and drink water in a very rude way. Food and appetizers are way over priced and the place is very cramped. Also it looks and has the feel of a bar atmosphere but the food selection is not normal bar food and is some European style ?
Great neighborhood place. I cant agree with the negative review on this site This small funky place may not be for everyone but it is eclectic, comfortable, and has a huge selection of beers from around the world. The small kitchen serves up simple but tasty fare that is down right inexpensive. Dont go here if you want something elaborate. The menu is on the website. This place does a lot to support local music having music practically every night on it’s tiny stage. Any money collected goes to the musicians. Luna Star is unique in Miami as far as I can tell.
