Dinner at Moca. I was very impressed by the decor. The restaurant is beautiful. The bathroom has beautiful granite counter tops and vessel sinks but it was not clean. Whenever I visit a restaurant. I visit the bathroom prior to sitting so I know whether to eat at there or not. Needless to say that I did not eat. I think that the manager needs to be more hands on. Bathrooms must be cleaned continuoulsy because some patrons are not the cleanest people. It is up to the establisment to ensure that they are cleaned continously so other patrons may use it. I was with 6 others who went on to eat. I notice that the portions vary greatly. 3 people ordered griot. One was served enough for 3 people (most of it was left on the table). It was good according to everyone but it was too much for one of them. Another one was served about 6 small pieces. We had to stop somewhere else because she was still hungry. One had enough for one serving and had a little bit left. 3 other people ordered tassot grill . One of them was served 5 pieces (2 of them were two large bones). I frequent two Haitian restaurants on a regular basis but I have never seen bones being served to patrons. You will find bones (small pieces, not large bones with a tiny piece of meat on them)! Who does that? Unfortunately, the restaurant is owned by a friend of one of my siblings. Those problems are minor and can be easlily rectified but there must be someoen in charge who is also there, WORKING!

Lunch at Moca. I went for lunch at the new redone Moca cafe and the place is absolutely beautiful. It is very needed in the Haitian community. the servuice was top notch and the food was excellent the only problem is their prices are way to high for lunch. they have no lunch menu they charge four dollars for a lemonade and i dont like the idea of including a tip on the check and then a place for additional tip. This is wrong and this is going to hurt their business in the long run. I was very pleased with the restaurant except for these few problems and they need to look into this before it’s to late.

Ms Faby. I must say I really like the place. It’s really nice . I’m very proud of you guys. We really needed something like that in the haitian community. Keep up the good work!

Superb!. I visited Moca Cafe with a friend. We were visiting from out of state and heard by word of mouth about the restaurant. As soon as I stepped in I was impressed. The restaurant was very spacious and inviting. The earth tone colors and decor complimented one another very well. On to the best part the FOOD was AMAZING! The prices are very reasonable and most importantly the service was good. At the end of the day Moca Cafe is the place to dine. The best part of it is that you do not have to be Haitian to eat there. Although my friend and I are of Haitian decent, as we were leaving I noticed other guest of a different ethnicity coming in. As far as nightlife goes there restaurant was a perfect venue turned into a lounge. We came back to dance to Reggea, Spanish, Top 40’s and offcourse Haitian music. My friend and I had such a great time! One of the best drinks I ever had was from Moca Cafe. When I visit Miami again, I will be visiting Moca Cafe for sure!
