Good food but never answers the phone. The food at Ricky,s is really great however, not worth the aggravation trying to get them on the phone to order a meal. I would imagine their biggest business is delivered items as the restaurant is small but they simply do not answer the phone and the delivery time is always over an hour. Most of the time I have to leave a message stating that I would like to order and they sometimes get back to me and sometimes they don’t. This place could be a real success if they got their act together with respects to customer service on the delivery end.
Precious Jewel. This place is amazing. It’s small and neaty kept. The owners are friendly and super humble. Everything is made to order and scrumptiously fresh. The chicken satay skewers seasoned with lemongrass and curry were to die for. It was like dimensions of flavor opened up as you ate them. The pad thai was also complex and full of dimension. The chicken with vegetables had a nice tangy/salty balance. Reasonable prices and a cozy ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning to this jewel!
Oh wow. For what it’s worth, I’ve never bothered to review a restaurant. I just had one of the best dining experiences of my life and felt compelled to share. My brother talked up this place so much I can’t believe it was even better than expected. The owner took time to bring us some sriracha from Thailand and if you like spice they are more than happy to offer some spicier, authentic flavor.
One of Miami’s best kept secrets. My new favorite Thai restaurant in Miami – I thought their food was better than Thai Spice and the prices were very reasonable. I could not recommend this restaurant any more. Please be warned – the restaurant owner grows his own vegetables and his peppers are hotter than what you can buy at the grocery store…haha. I love supporting family restaurants where the entire family is pitching in to get the job done and the owner greets his regular customers like they are his personal friends. Great food, fair prices, friendly atmosphere – are you on your way yet?
