Horrible place! I am a big lover of Makkota and Nobu. All around think they are expensive, but at least you are paying for the healthy not dangerous for your life products. Fist of all people in the restaurant are unfriendly, not professional (I came with a service dog 2 pounds and ID-they broke the law by not letting sit with my puppy that was sleeping), anyway the floors and tables are dirty. I can only imagine their kitchen (my doc won’t even poo there). From my friends also know that they are using not fresh stuff. And probably I was not allowed ( can you imagine in the states you are not allowed to be in) to eat because I asked whether they are using MSG ( dangerous for health additive), they were shocked and even couldn’t answer that question. So guys don’t pay for trash! Advice to everyone, eat in the places with polite people and reasonable attitude

Dislike is an understatement.. I went there with a party of five and they wanted you sit us at a table for four. I asked for a larger table bit dune the table fit six they said one seat would be left open. Very bad service.
I was looking at the other reviews and the lady owner or manager seems to be rude with many people. I am not the first one. The food is not bad. But if you ever have a problem or need to ask the lady manager something be very carefull. Someone here got thrown a chair at him I got pushed to the door. With her hands on me!09 Jun, 2013I went with a friend tonight. We had a good dinner. I been here many times. At the end we ask for a cup of tea. It was terrible hot. ( no ear to hold the cup) heavy. So the waiter brought is ice to put in. When I lift the cup I got burned it fell down spilled all over and I got severe burns on my hand and leg. After we paid our bill. I approach in a very nice way to the manager to let her know what happen so they are more carefull for the future. I wasn’t asking for anything else. All of the sudden she start yelling at me. Without even listening to what I had to say. She start pushing, touching my shoulder towards the door and screaming to leave.. There was a police officer right there. So I went to him. Si he can witness the crazy way this lady was behaving towards us. The police officer said there was nothing he can do and that he advice us to stay away from this place and another place they owned on Dixie. I don’t even know what place is that. So please if you have something to tell the manager. Be VERY carefull. She will treat you very bad, will humiliate you and push you ( literally) towards the door. She doesn’t want to hear it. She will accuse you telling you that she knows what you are doing and who you are. I have no idea what she means with that. All I wanted was for her to know that I got very burned the tea and to be very careful because one say she can get a lawsuit for this. But after the way she treated us guess some people deserve their lessons. God help her. She is very confused. I am never coming back to this place. I advice all of you to think it twice. It was very humiliating
Love it. I started going to Yakko San when it was still in West Dixie, and now that they moved I still go there often. I love their food so much, its really good and not crazy expensive. Even though every time I go there I have great food, I have to say that they were way more consistent and their food was tastier when they were in their previous location. Make sure to try they Hamachi Jalapeno, Tuna Guacamole, Crispy Pork Onion Salad, Yakki Udon… and I can keep listing
