  Meat Glue!!!. This place totally sucks.First: my husband and I ordered a mojto. The mojito had 3 leaves of spearmint counted. You could’nt taste the rum because probably there was just one drop. It was way too sparkling with bubbles and you could taste the tap water because there was way too many ice cubes inside. No cane sugar at all.(unfortunately these cocktails suck in a lot of chain restaurants here, but they always charge $ like if it was a real respectable cocktail)..Second and most important: the MEAT. I’ve ordered a Chicken plate. The chicken had a strange texture, like if the muscle of the breast was inflated with water injections. While i was chewing it, it was making a strange noise. The meat looked like was inflated with some liquid filler. It looked totally FAKE. The chicken breast was also huge. I sent it back and I’ve ordered a beef stake. The stake was testing ok. But the taste wasn’t very much like beef, but more like a pork sausage. The shape was strange, not like a normal cut. In some point was thicker (with clumps) and other part thinner. The texture was similar to grounded meat in certain spots…I think that was NOT a real stake, but a piece of meat made using lower quality pieces of meat, glued together, to simulate a stake. Unfortunately this is something that happens in these kind of restaurants, it’s not a joke, it’s documented that this is a practice in use. (if you don’t trust me, look on google about meat glue!) I definately think that this meat was glued together and not a real stake and probably flavored with artificial flavors. My husband had the same thought without me telling him anything. We will never go into an Applebee’s restaurant again. I can’t understand how these places are still in business. It looks like that there is a lot of people that have never taste a real stake and can’t see the difference. I’d prefer big time to stay at home than waste my money in a place like this. I hope that people will open their eyes and stop eating this junk, so that the restaurants will understand that they must give better quality, and not scam people like this… because this IS a SCAM!
