  Dependable. I can always depend on First Watch for good food and friendly service. This was my first visit to this particular First Watch and it was dependably good. I had their Parma Hash, a dish I often get at other First Watch restaurants. It is a skillet dish of mostly potatoes but includes a variety of other good tasting ingredients like sausage, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, seasoning and a little cheese, with a couple of eggs on top. While good on its own, I tend to use it as a vehicle to add ketchup and too much salt. I like salt.I arrived just a few minutes after they opened this morning so the place was almost empty. The earlier review talks about a wait to be seated and First Watch restaurants can get pretty busy, so I wouldnt doubt this one can get busy as the morning rolls on. I was greeted with a smile and had coffee in front of me almost immediately. The entire experience from start to finish was very good.

  The New Restaurant. I have eaten at the First Watch Restaurant in Tampa and Sarasota many times. The food is always good and the atmosphere is too. What were the owners thinking when they built such a small restaurant. The waiting area is cramped and while you are waiting, there are people trying to pay their bill. The owners should have been aware that the people of North Port have had the same ole same ole for so long, that they would have a great business. However, I have spoken with a couple of my friends and one said that there was a 30 min wait and then the waiting area is too small as is the restaurant. I have been there twice already, but even though the food is always good, waiting for 30 min or so in a cramped area isn’t a drawing card for me.
