Old world or Old Dutch-name change?. This place has been around forever and speaks for its-self in popularity. It amazes me that a person would give this place a scathing review, when the car lot is packed every night and day. The meals are consistently good as is the service. I have never had an unacceptable meal at this restaurant and have ate at it, frequently, over the years. The name has changed a few times from Olde Cheese House, Olde World Restaurant and Olde Dutch Restaurant but I have always enjoyed my dining experience specially when they had the Margarita nights. You won’t get bored with the menu options. Nuff said.

Fresh Strawberries on French Toast. I felt I needed to add this information on an unusual twist for an old breakfast favorite. Olde World takes a huge slice of their homemade bread and cuts a well in the center. After addiing batter and cooking in the deep fryer, luscious fresh strawberries are heaped into the well and on top. I opted not to have the whipped cream, but you should feel free to indulge!Another way to enjoy their French toast is to smother it in powdered sugar.13 Nov, 2011!! BEST BREAKFAST DEAL !!. Besides having the friendliest waitstaff in town, Olde World offers by far the best breakfast deal anywhere! There are two weekday specials to choose from for just $2.99. And we are talking quality breakfast, not skimping on portions or quality to lure in the crowd. In addition, all breakfasts on the menu (and there are many) are worth trying. I personally love the Popeye Omelet which is filled with lots of fresh spinach and coated with an awesome Hollandaise sauce, and it is served with home fries and/or other choices.I can also recommend The Scramble, which is a huge omelet filled with ham, onions, mushrooms and other veggies and comes topped with cheddar cheese. I substitute Swiss cheese and always ask to embellish it with their tasty salsa. That, too, comes with other sides.I assure you that you will not go home hungry!!!!One more plug is not just for the waitstaff, but especially for Hostess Shirley who does much more than just seat you… she can be a one-woman greeter and entertainer, as well as helping see that you are fully satisfied with your dining experience.
