I just had dinner at Sharks Fish House in North Port which it was recommended by the locals. The food was hot and fresh. My wife got the Haddock which she loved, and I got the ultimate platter which has fish, crab cake, shrimp, scallops, Basa fingers. I demolished it. Prices are fair, less than $10 a plate. I would definitely recommend it
Excellent choice for seafood. This is a no frills restaurant. When you walk in the door and seat yourself you notice it is a wide open concept, clean and bright. The waitress was super friendly and pointed out the days special. Cod, clam strips, fries and good coleslaw $8.79. Doesn’t get much better than this. My only complaint would be the fries. i just don’t like frozen. If you are frugal and like value for your hard earned money, this is the place to eat. By the way, the cod was excellent.I made a second trip back some weeks later. Sometimes, you can be wrong in your review. I went for supper on a Wed night and it was very busy. I had 2 filets of fish plus a Haddock fillet. I couldn’t eat it all, and it was better than I first wrote. After eating at many other establishments, I would say they had the best frozen frys In fact, a meal here was without a doubt one of the better meals during my month long visit to the area. Meal was $12 and worth every penny.

Huge portion of deep fried shrimp & fries for $8.95…no frills great seafood fix kind of food..we’ll be back!
I love this restaurant! Everyone is so friendly & it’s such a cozy environment. The food is absolutely delicious and so cheap! Definitely a place to stop by & have a bite at.
This restaurant is the best place around town! Once you step in the door you’re greeted by friendly smiling people. The fish and shrimp is so fresh and the price is great!
