Pretty good bar. Theepitome of a local joint, but its casual Florida ambiance has appeal to regular’sand vacationers alike.Food ranges from great to OK, with competitive prices. Karaoke two to four nights a week is sheerfun, but if you don’t sing, there is a Tiki Bar out front.
Very good experience! We came for a late lunch and enjoyed everything. Very casual beach vibe, super friendly staff and quick service. Fun outdoor bar, too! We had the buffalo chicken wrap and the philly cheese steak and they were both delicious!!
Soapy Beer. This dive of a bar which seemed promising with its tacky Florida kitsch on the beach thing had the soapiest tasting beer I have ever had. It was not even drinkable. I don’t know how often and well they clean their taps when they do but my Yuengling was terrible. I left.
WORST ON THE BEACH. I am an island local and will NEVER set foot in the Friendly Tavern again! Very poor, unorganized and rude service. I highly recommend bringing your business to an establishment that has a better understanding of customer service.
HORRIBLE. I would not recommend this trashy bar, the staff are rude and they do not live up to their promises.
Torn. Went on a Friday night with some people. They happened to have a all you can eat Rib Eye for $17.95….i figured I try it out. I didn’t have high hopes by any means for all you can eat rib eye’s. I ordered the it and the first one came out really beautiful. Soft and a layer of fat mostly on the outside. I don’t eat the fat but its good for flavor and a rib eye should have fat on it. I cut around it and finished it off. So I was pleasantly surprised that it was huge and delicious. The 2nd one came and it was not as great. It was alot smaller and less tender. I ate it and ordered a 3rd one.Now it got even smaller and little bit more chewier. So I am figuring that its just going to keep going downhill.So I was torn. The first one was good for the value. But then it got worse.Parking was horrible though. Luckily we walked there from a friend’s house that is right behind it.Service was okay, not great but not horrible.I would not recommend the rib eye deal.
Great Apps!. We had some delicious wings and shrimp, highly recommend both. My pork sandwich was OK, nothing special. Nice atmosphere, sitting outside watching the locals at the outside bar, hearing them talk about Baltimore….
