Good food. Good service. Dog friendly so a person like me with allergies was not comfortable with a dog within 2 ft of me. Liked that he told us how long it would be to get our meal.

Sweet with a Side of Sunny. Sweet Sage offers a unique menu of gourmet crepes and fancy eggs that live up to hype I heard so much before trying this place. Breakfast is one of those meals that is nice to go out for every now and then but it can be hard to find a place that isn’t Denny’s-like or tastes more generic than something you make at home. This cute and quirky place is pet-friendly and has a beautiful patio that keeps in the sweet smells this place offers. The first time I did the breakfast buffet and I was not disappointed. Buffets usually get a bad rap and I usually agree but everything tasted fresh. The eggs were creamy and flavorful and did not taste or feel like they had been sitting in the warmer all morning. (I went at eleven thirty). I tried grits for my first time and those were alright but I’m not used to that for breakfast or at all. Their breakfast pastries were to die for. They had these soft cinnamon roll bars that I went back twice for. The fruit was fresh and not soggy and there was a chocolate fountain. Sweet Sage is worth the money as it is a bit pricier but try anything and you will not be disappointed. The breakfast burrito is big and I suggest it but they stuff it too much with mushrooms and it overpowers the rest of the ingredients. The crepes are perfect.

Nice little breakfast spot. Came in for some breakfast this AM … Nice place… Clean dining room, tastefully decorated with lots of eclectic parapharnalia that you can buy on your way out through the boutique. I had a take on a classic eggs benedict – toasted bagel with sausage patties, stacked with scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. Served with fruit or potatoes on the side, the dish was tasty and served very freshly prepared and hot! Could have been a bit more generous with the hollandaise sauce, but otherwise quite good. Coffee was fresh and flavorful. Would like to try some more!3.5/5

Waited 40 minutes for 2 meals…. My mother and I recently went to Sweet Sage after hearing many good reviews but after our experience there we will not be returning. We waited over 40 minutes for our order to arrive while others who were seated after us, and had larger parties, had already received their meals. Once our food arrived it was sloppy in presentation and sub-par in taste. We will not be returning to Sweet Sage after this awful dining experience.

Pirates and Scallywags Live Here. On April 13, my wife made a purchase in their gift shop using a Visa Gift Card. Her receipt shows a $14.42 balance, but the cashier neglected to return the card. Realizing the error, my wife returned the next day to encounter a sad case of employees to seem to be suffering from short term memory loss. When my wife suggested that perhaps they might honor the credit on a food bill, they treated here with derision (re: snotty). So Caveat Emptor, may the buyer beware. If they shake your hand, be sure to count your fingers.
