Friendly, variety of empanadas.
Love this place. People have mentioned that the oil seems old. Understandable during the end of the night. This is a family owned place. Food is awesome. The earlier the fresher. But I’m sure if you ask for something fresh to be made they won’t have a problem. Food is awesome. Would recommend to anyone who’s Latino or even trying Latino food for the first time.
Bad beef, old oil in my empanadas. The beef was old, rotten in my empanada order! I bought a variety of empanadas from here to bring home to my family. We are mostly Chilean and we know a real empanada when we see and taste it. The empanadas from here were a failed attempt at a good empanada. The restaurant used the right dough and the size of the empanada was right…but they were cooked in very old oil (you could taste it in the dough) and the fillings lacked good flavor. The empanada filling was about half of what it should be as well. And then my family and I all bit into the beef (carne) empanadas and they tasted disgustingly rotten. I do not know how a restaurant could sell something obviously rotten like this. I had high hopes for this place as it was right down the road from my work…but, unfortunately, I don’t think I can try the place again…will look for another place with empanadas. The restaurant prices weren’t up to date either. The internet, hand-out, and wall menu items where lower than what they rang up at the register. I guess the prices went up on goods but they failed to up date their menus. They fixed the prices for me but I had to argue with them to get this accomplished.

Muy Bueno. What a great surprise. I came here for lunch and got the beef lunch special that came with rice and beans and a few plantains. You can choose other meats from a cafeteria type setup. The Empanadas are outstanding and very inexpensive. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
