Good food and good service. Tip… Come here between 5:30-6pm. Otherwise it will be packed and the wait is long. This is my second time here and the food is good. It’s tasty and not bland. It’s also enough food and you will not leave hungry. However, the decor is quite dated. But that could also be the appeal and to keep the food cost low. I had the seafood combo and it was great. Fish, scallops and shrimp was cooked perfectly. Will recommend and will be back.14 Apr, 2014Worth waiting. First time at Catfish Deweys and arrived around 630 pm on a Sat night. The line stretched out the door and around the building. Wasn’t sure what the big hoopla was about but decided to wait on a table. The parking was almost non- existent. We had to park 2 plazas down and when we got out of the car, an older gentleman said parking was $3.00. I did not see a sign, but as people were parking, I see people taking money out of their pockets and paying the man. So not really sure if the guys works for Catfish Deweys or we just got scammed. Ok, back to the restaurant. We ordered the Sat night special – fried oysters, clams and steamed crawfish. Surprisingly, it turned out great. The oysters were plumb and light, the crawfish had just the right seasoning (old bay) but the clams were a bit chewy. It was all you can eat so the second round I had only the crawfish and oysters. We also ordered the ribs (very good) and the seafood combo (grilled shrimp, scallops and mahi mahi). Also was very good. Despite the wait, the food was good and the service was great. Will recommend and will be back.

We went for the crab and lobster and were not disappointed!! Huge portions, friendly service, hush puppies and deep fried mushroom were sooo good! Was not on the menu but we asked if they would take into account the free appetizer coupon on the website and it was no problem! This is a hidden gem!!
Great fried shrimp. The fried shrimp were some of the best we’ve tasted. The shrimp were fresh and the batter was light. The decore is dated, but the service was good. We’d go back again.
All you can eat crab legs were amazing! I’ll definitely go back soon! The only complaint I have is the bathrooms… Not very clean and very run down. But the food was wonderful!
Not for the finicky. Very much frozen deep fried food… ok for your old parents from Boston, not ok for your friend from the West Coast.
Would agree that it’s gone downhill and smells funny but food is still decent.
