Loved it. Been to dinner at the homes of many persons from India. This place is the best I have eaten in so far compared to the home cooking. I especially loved the nan stuffed with a paste of fruits and nuts. Yum.
Visited this place with a bunch of my American and Korean friends. The ambience of the place is really great. It matches that of a typical Indian restaurant. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Coming to the food, I tried the chicken tandoori and chicken tikka masala. The tandoori tasted great and it is served like a sizzler. The tikka masala tasted a bit like an Americanized version of it. Overall a good experience!
We first found this restaurant during a business trip and revisited it every trip thereafter. The food is delicious, lunch specials are well priced, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is pleasant for conversation. Well managed restaurant.

Great Indian FoodWe were heading down I-75 at dinnertime and I had heard about Amrit. I was expecting something good, but it was really great.Weve traveled in Punjab, the region of India where the owners come from, and the food was like a visit back there. The menu is fairly extensive and reasonably priced.The restaurant is really beautiful inside and everything was very clean. All the servers were friendly and welcoming and helpful.Wow! I would have thought a restaurant this good would be in a big city. Were lucky that it was in nice, little Ocala and right near the highway. Well be back.
Outstanding authentic cuisine of India. The service added to the meal. The servers were attentive to my specific dietary requirements and helped with my selections. If you’re in Ocala don’t leave without visiting Amrit Palace.
Excellent food ,horrible deserts. I visited Amrit palace today after one of friend suggested it to me , I was impressed by the quality of food , atmosphere of the place and service by the staff until we complained about the desert ‘ gulab jamun ‘ . It didn’t tasted good that’s what we told him but to our surprise he came back to us saying there is nothing wrong . It looked like he was Trying to threaten us by asking what’s wrong with it , even though I told him food was excellent but there was seriously something wrong with gulab jamun he looked least bothered . Well last word I can say about the place is food is really good but don’t even think about desert
