I used to go to champions when they just had a trailer of an I75 exit. The sitdown restaurant has the same good bbq. Try the brisket or pulled pork.
this place was recommended by our kayak tour guide. Some of us had brisket, some the pulled pork, and we were all happy. They even put slaw on our sandwiches, the way we like it in North Carolina!
Great BBQ. Moist and flavorful. Love the beef brisket and baby backs. No sauce needed on the brisket just tender and juicy the way it comes.
