Second time I’ve been to Cody’s & it was again a pleasant experience. Food was good but not great, but we weren’t paying big bucks either. Our server Mark was great and service was very prompt. I definetly would go back again.
I’m really disappointed in the Cody’s Roadhouse on Hwy 200 in Ocala. I went there with my son on 03/8/2013. We got sat right away and told a server would be right with us. Yeah right what a laugh. We had 3 servers walk right by our table. They would glance at us (we had menus in front of us ) and they would keep walking. Not one said hello, hey, have u been taken care of nothing. (this happened during a period of 20 minutes).A MANAGER goes to tables around us asking how things are and all that yet, when she comes by our table, she just glances at us (we still had menus after 10 minutes) and keeps on walking to the next table. She doesn’t even say hello or acknowledge us. We decided to wait a little more and heh after 20 minutes still nothing. As we get up to leave one of the waitresses who had walked by our table like 2 or 3 times comes up to us and asks whats wrong and if we had been there a while. What a joke we just told her we had sat for 20 minutes and were leaving and she was like ohhh ok. Not even a sorry. Will never go there again
Best place in the town. You must to try. Ask by the best waitress of the City. she is here and her bame is Turista
Waiting in my truck for a friend to show up when the manager and his boyfriend came outside and stared at me.. It was like their Jerry Sandusky moment. When my friend showed up I got out of the truck to meet her and the Jerry Sandusky look alike did a quick step away from us. After dinner the manager said thanks. I’m still wondering what his problem was and what exactly were they gonna do about it..
Great food with great prices. Our server Kimmy was pleasant and very helpful. We all ate every bite of our meals and still enjoyed dessert! We are driving through from out of state and will definitely stop here again on our next roadtrip!!

I’m really sorry to read the reviews for the ocala location..My name is james, i’m a new hire in training for the clearwater location..hopfully i will get the chance to come in and help correct and improve the store quality of food and servive ,..so these problems don’t exist and MOST IMPORTANT KEEP OUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY AND SATISFIED..It’s not about us it’s about you bringing your family into any codys location and feeling like FAMILY,.to sit down have FUN.and enjoy GREAT SERVICE AND A GREAT MEAL..We are working to please all our customers expectations.This company has changed my life..and i feel will have the same affect on you..THANK YOU JAMES BAKER.
This place has really made a great turn around!They were not the best in service in the past now I have seen great managers and great food!!!!!!!!!
