I have no regrets on the money spent here since the customer service from the waiters is great and better than that the food is awesome, if you order the Large Sicilean, however you spell it, it’s very delicious and for the price is just right. For 12.99 it isn’t bad at all and for just one topping added it’s a dollar and fifty added to that price. It’s big enough to fill three average size eight-teen year old’s and will fill you up quick. Today was my eighth time and I plan on going back even more.
Fantastic, homemade, from scratch pizza dough. SO glad Chef Michael is in business. This was worth the trip from South FL to have his homemade pizza dough. It’s made fresh, from scratch and is heavenly. No additives, no corn meal crust, no corn oil or milk in it, just perfect dough cooked perfectly. He made me a vegan pizza due to my allergy to milk products and paid attention to every detail so I could enjoy a delicious pie without any trouble. I had to make myself not eat the whole thing and save half of it for dinner. He didn’t skimp on the toppings either – tons of spinach, mushrooms, and onions that worked perfectly with his marinara sauce (which he used instead of his normal sauce so I didn’t have to worry about any cheese). His care and attention to detail and love for serving great food is amazing! So worth the trip! My mom had a savory, crispy, melty, eggplant parm sandwich and we oohed and aahed over every bite. When you are in Ocala you must stop by for this wonderful gem of a place!
Strip Mall GEM!. The restaurant I was looking for was gone, Formaggio had taken over the space. I was not impressed but I was hungry, so what the heck. I was warmly welcomed and given a rather impressive menu. However what I craved, spaghetti with meat sauce was not on it. The waitress (who was quirky and charming) checked and they would be happy to accomodate me – though she did say try the meatballs next time as they are fantastic. The salad was fresh and the house dressing was delicious. The garlic knots were great and served piping hot. The pasta portion was huge and I was pleased to not see any water on the plate. The sauce was thick and flavorful and I was already looking forward to having the leftovers for lunch the next day. I rarely order spaghetti as it’s generally flat in taste and highly over-priced. This place proved me wrong. It’s not fancy, not a place to take someone on a date to impress with ambiance, but if you want to impress their taste buds (and your wallet as prices are quite fair), go for it. I’m looking forward to being back in the area and this time WILL get the spaghetti and meatballs!

They treat you great and the food is fantastic!!!Please try the CheeseSteak, its the best in town and the pizza is the only other one in town as good as Loritos.Wonderful people, great atmosphere. Come in for a slice and give it a try.

Ah so enjoyable.. This place is a place that you can be comfortable and satisfied in a short period of time. A welcoming friendly (family) atmosphere. The lasagna was the best I have ever tasted, melts in your mouth. Everything we have tried was excellent. Nothing drowning in sauce or overly spiced. Need to call ahead to purchase sauce, but worth it. The sauce isn’t the run of the mill overpowering tomato. Only beer and wine but very satisfactory. The only drawback was it gets quite warm in the dining room at times. A few ceiling fans would fix that and add to the ambience. A long ride from home not just around the corner like others, but well worth the trip!
Best pizza in Ocala. This is a restaurant that has become number one over night……..The dough is fresh made daily, the sauce is a family kept secret made daily, the stone ovens and the owners make you feel at home
