This is an amazing restaurant! The ambiance is lovely and service is outstanding! We had dinner the 1st night to try them out for a possible future wedding party. started out with cheese fritters which are balls of cheesy goodness! I had the Petite fillet and shrimp and my fiancee had the Barbeque shrimp and grits. My fillet was cooked perfectly medium rare and so tender and flavorful! The shrimp were butterflied with a super light tempura like batter..can you say YUMM! The sides of carrots, green beans and mushrooms were so delishious! The dinner was served with the creamiest cheese grits I have ever eaten along with a yeast roll, cornbread and a salad before dinner. Kens meal was just as delicious with the same sides and barbecued shrimp served with the creamy cheesy grits! You have to try the Raspberry tea!! We had the Pecan tulip which is wonderful and HUGE! It really could have been shared between two people and Ken had the Buttermilk Walnut pie! Just wonderful! We loved it soo much that we went to lunch there the next day! Baked Crispy Chicken southern grilled mozzarella and topped off with a piece of Buttermilk Walnut Pie and Chocolate midnight cake! Everything was so wonderful!! Great service again! We can’t say enough good things about this place! This is our new favorite place in Ocala and we will have our wedding party here!!
My go-to restaurant for some southern friendly yummyness!. Ok so you know how you want a restaurant that is both casual and nice at the same time? That Ivy House. It is quite the perfect place. The food is modern southern with each bite more delicious then the last serve by friendly professional staff. The dcor is fabulous. Did I mention they have takeout? Perhaps the best idea ever! Awesome food to go! Great for dinner (and catering). if you haven’t been you need to check it out!

Ocala is such a beautiful city and the charming Ivy House adds to this charm. Offering an outstanding menu and above average professional management; the Ivy House is a must visit restaurant. This is a place you want to take all your northern family & friends to when they visit. Affordable delicious meals, great service and catering not to mention the beautiful setting. As I write this, think I’ll go there today.
Love it!. The Crispy Chicken and the green beans and carrots are my favorites! I have been going to the Ivy House for years and we have had special occasion dinners/lunches/showers, etc. there too!! Highly recommend the buttermilk pie and the milk cake! Good food and great people there!
Love this !. Great place to eat! The Crispy Chicken and Mac and Cheese are my favorites! They also have great fried shrimp and a wonderful homemade salad dressing that goes great with the sweet moist cornbread!
