Loved the pastries!!!!. I’m from south fl and know authentic Cuban food. This is the real thing!!! The pastries and the Cuban bread are delicious. I had a croqueta sandwich and my husband the ropa vieja, and of course pastries!!!! Everything was delicious. It is baked fresh, just like back home. We will definitely be back.
The cake sample we got was amazing but once we paid $50 for a custom cake of the same sample we got it did NOT taste anything like the sample. Tasted awful.
Absolutely love the pastries. I can only speak for the baked goods at this establishment, but they are excellent! I love the guava and cheese pastries. You can’t beat the prices either–go in with a $10 and see just how many baked items you can walk out with!
Great Cubans plus catering!. My fav place in Ocala for a true Cuban! The catering service is excellent. My last two corporate luncheons they have delivered and the service and food are exceptional. They are at a new, larger location out on west SR200. Check this location as well as the bakery they have too!
It is good for the price you pay.. This is a place where you would go if you wanted a tasty cuban meal. The lunch menu could easily be split for two, which would make it much more affordable. Yes, the staff is not too friendly, but they are ok. Just not the type you would stop to chat with. I do enjoy the food everytime I go there. I mean it is a really cheap meal, let’s not forget that.
Place used to be fantastic. Last time I was there I got served a breakfast sandwich with a sausage pattie that was entirely made up of the but end of the sausage where the casing binds together. Not to mention the lady who was at the window had a 1 inch sized open wound on her left arm. Not bandaged or anything. Freakin disgusting. Tried calling to speak with the manager later but that was a bust. Same lady answered the phone n refused to get the manager. They use to be good but clearly suck now. Looks like theyve shut down since.
