Not going back. Took an hour to get our food, waitress was clueless on our questions, food was greasy and warm (not hot)….cole slaw was good. Would not even give it a second chance. This was the newer one opened on Rt 27 at I-75.
More bar than restaurant. We ordered a dozen raw. I’m use to Apalachicola oysters and these were from texas. I could only stomach one, my wife ate the rest. the fried fish dinner, if you like grease, was good. unfortunately we don’t like greasy seafood so we didn’t even eat half the fish. hush puppies were burnt too. there will be no return visit for us.
Murphy’s is terrible! The clam strips were over cooked & the oysters were fishy. The loaded fries were nasty as well & they were supposed to have bacon but had a mystery meat on top. Can you say gross?! The service was also terrible. Our waitress came over only a few times & the man who runs the place was rude. It was also super loud inside. I should have known how bad it was by the lack of customers. I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone & whoever says this place is good has no taste buds!
I really enjoyed the food. I had the oysters, clams, dungenous crab, scallops, and their salad. Everything was fresh and great!
First seafood restaurant we like in USA. We are from an island and this is the closer to real seafood we had try. Definitely we are coming back!
