Stopped in for breakfast the other morning, service was prompt and very friendly. Coffee was fresh and plentiful, eggs were a little over cooked but all in all very good and reasonably priced. I had lunch at this cafe` today, service was excellent, food was very tasteful, reasonably priced and was in and out very quickly. That meets all the criteria to me . . . so sorry the perfect egg wasn’t available for ol’ white head, maybe if we are lucky it pissed them off enough to go back to New York, or New Jersey – just leave Florida, bye, bye
Terribly Disappointed. What began as good dining experiences have since devolved. The waitresses (2 in particular) need to do two things: First and foremost, learn to be kind and not make terribly insulting comments about customers or at least not where the customers can hear the horrible comments being made. The food was great, but the other issue I had was with the way the food was being handled not just once, twice, but three times. My family, friends and I will be taking our business where our business is appreciated and where we won’t be concerned about the safety of our food and made to feel verbally harmed.
So awesome! Great, fresh, made from scratch food! Awesome staff! The new dinner menu is incredible, cornbread and biscuits all homemade and delicious! I love this place!!

Consistently excellent. Contrary to the one negative review on this site, my wife an I have been going to Scrambles on a regular basis since they opened. We have had nothing but good service, excellent food, friendly staff, peaceful surroundings, and nice music. We have sampled just about everything on their menu at one time or another and find that the eggs are cooked perfectly (we are a little persnickety about them), the coffee is good, the omelets are superb, and any complaints (which have been few) have been taken care of quickly and with a smile.It helps any establishment when the owners are always there to make sure things are done properly. I don’t recall any visit when at least one of the owners is there and actively involved in making sure things run smoothly.Also, they have some of the best hamburgers in town!Try it for yourself! You won’t be sorry.
NASTY FOOD, and manager!. I understand why they call it scrambles. They absolutely can’t make an egg over medium. It was so bad, AFTER i complained, I took a picture of it. Burnt edges, top and bottom. They purposely returned the worst joke of an egg ever seen. I’m serious. It was clear that the manager was sending a message not to complain. She clearly stated that the severly overcooked eggs where always done like that and she had over 20 years in the business. I swear, she really said that. I wish the pic had not been blurry, but she was quiclky removing it from the table, after i told her that i was taking a pic. The home fries are dried out little cubes of potato (yes, you will swear they are frozen) Samll portions and big attitude are common place. I had been there several times before, but this was the tipping point. Go check it out for yourself. I’ll go to Aunt Fannies on 200, in Ocala. It is much better, super friendly staff, the owner is there and cares, and the portions are HUGE.
Great Local Find. My wife and I like to eat at local joints. While visiting Ocala, we found Scrambles! Perfect. Cozy setting, fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices. The omelets we had were delicious.
