The BEST place for SUSHI in Ocala, Florida! Try the Mermaid Roll. The incredibly FRESH Sashimi rolled with mango is outstanding. Service is well performed and the atmosphere is quietly low key.
The hand rolls were creative and flavorful. Lots of combos to try. The crab rangoons weren’t the best- too much cream cheese. The service wasn’t very good but I’ve never been to a sushi place with good service. If choosing a place to get sushi in Ocala, I would definitely pick this over the other options.

I had dinner at Sushi Bistro on March 7 and it was one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had. The best thing I tried was the seaweed salad. The spring rolls were fried too long but they were still mushy in the middle. And the fish…let’s just say that I’m hoping I don’t get sick. If you want fresh sushi I would not go to Sushi Bistro.
Excited. Tomorrow (jan 27) is my birthday and i chose the bistro for my birthday dinner.. i have looked and searched for a good sushi place in this hell hole they call ocala with NO luck.. go figure huh.. but i hope i wont be dissapointed.. i will be back with the real review tomorrow.. my fingers are crossed cause i can eat good sushi atleast once a week.. they may have a new regular 🙂
