Excellent food and service. We had sushi. The waiter recomended the sakira roll and it was the best one we had. This might be the best sushi I have had since i came to Orlando 9 months ago.
Have been to Ginza several times before and have watched it painfully decline. Today had reservations at 6:30pm and the server took our drink order at 7:02. Drinks showed up at 7:20. Food order taken at 7:27. Food portions have been reduced significantly and the quality has to. The cook might have said three words the whole night. (Some show!) The shrimp was very rubbery and the service was none existent. We had to ASK for EVERYTHING! Finished eating at 8:39 and requested our bills. At 9:30 we offered to hand write our own tickets and pay. At 9:45 we demanded answers as to why we were still there. A young guy came out and said the computer had crashed and will be up momentarily, all the while the computer was running with the server trying to punch in ticket. (It was in plain view of out table) at 10:15 we offered to pay again, and after some unkind words with the young manger, we left the restraint totally baffled that they refused to let us pay and stated that if we leave our check would come out of the servers paycheck. Then the manager told the rest of our party the same sad new, and that they were to stay until they got their bills. The place hasn’t been cleaned in years and had a foul Oder. I’m saddened that this once awesome restraint will no longer be a place to relax with my family. Ginza is now a thing of the past. We are now looking for a new Japanese Steakhouse to call home.
I’ve been to Ginza dozens of times, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly. I would strongly recommend Ginza to anyone who enjoys Japanese food.
Not so great. Tonight was my first visit to Ginza and I was really not impressed. The price was about the only thing I liked, but the quality of the food and the showmanship of the chef was seriously lacking. The salad was way over dressed and the rest of the meal tasteless. The steak tasted as though it had been frozen and thawed which for a restaurant is not acceptable. The white sauce was the biggest disappointment of the night…it just tasted BAD. The waitress was very friendly, which was probably the only redeeming quality of the staff. The chef was incredibly boring as he only did one flash flame and the volcano…other than that he just sat back and cooked the food…if I wanted to simply watch someone cook food, I’d go home. We probably won’t be coming back here. Also…we were one of two couples seated at the grill and we were seated on the side rather than in the middle (optimum viewing spots).
I’ve been here twice but only ate here once because the 2nd time I ended up walking out because of how upset I was. The service here is horrible. The staff lacks customer service skills and are poor mannered. There is always a wait even when the place is absolutely empty. The first time I went we waited for 15 min for a table and there was only one other couple in the whole restaurant. The sushi was okay but nothing to write home about. The last time I went a few days ago, we waited for 20 minutes and when the lady went I seat us around the hibachi table, she put us in seats that were certainly not around the hibachi table like everyone’s else’s. The cook would have basically had his back to us. I left upset because I waited for a hibachi table and I pay to sit and eat at a hibachi table, yet she puts us off to the side like second class citizens. I left and I will never come ban to this place ever again. I go to restaurants and pay for good service so I won’t stand for attitudes like the ones I see in this place.
Great American Japanese. Eaten here maybe 25 times in five years. Food is great, especially the bento boxes, rolls and hibatchi. The iced tea is not southern tea. It comes out of the soda fountain, which is unforgivable in Florida. The service is fine if you don’t have a problem. If you do…good luck to you!
Ginza is now Crazy Fish with new owners. It was great and price so low for what we ordered. Staff was very very nice and appreciated us coming in.
