  Great Food. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!. Soong Thai just lost yet another customer!!! This is definitely one of better Thai restaurants in the Orlando Florida Area. It is a shame that the restaurants customer service is so down right horrible!!! Every time I go there, its like rolling the dice. You never know what type of experience you are going to have!!!! As a result, it turns a wonderful dish into a bowl of toilet water due to their horrible service!!The staff is obviously very overwhelmed. Every time I go to Soong Thai the meal is inconsistent or the service is inconsistent. One visit you get a plate full of Pad Thai. Another visit, you get half a cup of Pad Thai with 2 shrimp!! Sometimes you get the soup and salad with your meal. Sometimes you dont. Sometimes they bring you the check in a reasonable time. Sometimes you wait 15 minutes for your check. Sometimes they refill your water. Other times they forget and you sit there at your table choking!! There is literally absolutely no rhyme or reason. They simply do not have enough staff to handle seated Guests and the volume of take-out orders. As a result, seated guests ended up waiting and waiting for small things like again a glass of water, or a spice tray because of the take out line. Its ridiculous. Surprise…. My Soong Thai experience on 5/8/15 left a lot to be desired!!! What restaurant have you ever been to where you are asked to get up and move to another table because they have a large party coming in. During the middle of my meal!! Really!?! You sat my family at this table!! Then to make matters worse. You didnt even end up using the table where we were originally sitting!! Then we ask for the check at the end of the meal. They never come back with my credit card, so I got in the take out line so I could get my credit card and leave. I finally make it to the front of the line. This rude waitress deliberately rings my credit card and instead of handing it to me at the cash register, proceeds to take it to my table!!! I have received better service through the Churchs Chicken Drive-Thru!!!!!! Last night I decided that Soong Thai does not deserve my money or recommendations anymore period!!!! Its worth driving to Thai Spice in Clearwater to get better Thai food and service!!!!

  Disgusting behavior. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I signed up just to write this review. Saturday night I called for take out at 9:50 and was told they are closed – I knew they closed at 10 and it was a long shot but I wanted to try anyways. Sunday we decided to just go there for dinner. I noticed a sign on the door that said last seating on Sunday was 8:30, even though the hours of operation were until 10. It was 8:31 when I looked at my phone so I went in and asked for a table for three and a sling and I was told they are closed. So I showed her my phone still on and said it’s 8:31 – really one minute? She just said sorry. So I walked out all annoyed while my husband was at the door with the car seat. He then went in and tried to explain the fact that we had an infant we were trying to get out the car etc (she was almost 10 weeks old and this was our first attempt to go out for dinner). She told him sorry her clock says 8:34 and we could order take out but refused to let him speak to the manager. So we left and went to Olive Garden instead. So disgusted by their behavior.
