Apps, salad and drinks place. Consistently bad fish of all kinds in my experience. Enjoy coming here to sit in the bar area and grab some apps and a salad with a couple of cocktails when the need arises for something different.You can do much much better for fresh seafood and in particular fish in this area as you well know.I have found that over the course of trying different locations of BFG that I tend to stay away from them after a visit or two and there is something to be said for that. I think one reason is I am looking for local food and not chains.But when you have people on vacation they will go to where they think comfort is and that in itself is sad sad sad.Why stand in line for two hours for a chain? Places like this and Olive Garden and even places like Fuddpuckers astound me in how they keep people entranced enough to wait that long ON VACATION.Bounce in for an app and drink and move on to fresh seafood elsewhere.

Great for drinks and apps…skip the entrees. We go here for appetizers and drinks. Great happy hour and interesting cocktails. The mussels Josephine are to die for. We’ve tried various entrees in the past and never thought they were worth the money. Over cooked tepid fish and boring sides.
Great seafood and very polite employees!. I visited this one (across 293 from Destin Commons Mall) a couple times this year, and the fish was fresh, properly flaky, and DELICIOUS. The server I had was very polite, helpful, and even catered to my 5 yr-old nephew who was bored (as young ones tend to get quickly) with something to draw his sharks on with crayons, heh. The prices weren’t as bad as I’d have thought being Destin and a nice place I’d heard much about (minus price). I recommend if you’re ever on the far end of Destin or at the mall.

Love the bang bang shrimp. My husband doesn’t really like fish so we don’t go here often. However, we went here specifically for bang bang shrimp – that many restaurants try to duplicate but can’t seem to get right. Love them. Fish tacos were pretty good too.
