Great Place. Great little breakfast place. It’s located around the corner and today was my first visit. Loved the country fried steak and gravy. I will be visiting on the regular from now on. Keep up the good work!
Great food and serve. Dated but very clean.
Good Eats, Service and Price. Had a simple breakfast – eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns – and it was delicious and served promptly.
Best Chicken Fried Steak. My husband and I don’t understand the negative reviews because as locals, we go there all the time. The waitresses have always been very nice. They are busy but they do their job and refill coffee, glasses, etc. We absolutely adore the chicken fried steak. Any other food that we have ordered is really good comfort food. The pancakes are also delicious! In the 3 years that we have been going, every meal has been great. It is an East Coast diner but in the South. My only criticism is that you can’t eat there every day because you may die of heart disease!
Confused. My grandparent love this place. My grandmother insists on going there whenever my mother comes to visit. For the life of me I dont understand why anyone goes there. The food is tasteless and the servers are kinda rude.
The food is VERY basic. Nothing fancy, but fine for the price. I posted that I don’t like it bit I’m actually in the middle. I probably won’t go back. Good service, prompt & courteous.
Local hangout. The Breakfast Place is one of those places that if you sit there long enough, you will eventually see everyone you know in town! I’m not sure, but I believe it used to be Hoagie House in a different location. Our family enjoys going here before we travel on holidays for a big breakfast together.I have always had good service there. Some of the ladies have been there for years.I can recommend the French Toast, as well as the Vegetable Omelet. Their bacon is always crisp perfection.Some of the daily specials are local favorites, particularly Friday’s Fried Rice. Because the owners are Asian, they do some thiings very well, like lumpia.
