Exceeded Expectations. Personally I’m not too crazy on the whole health nut gig but I have to admit it was a nice change. The Portabella Burger was really good, potato salad was eh, smoothie was good but too overpriced for the size. All in all a good place if you wish to start anew a healthy outlook into food.
Healthy that tastes delicious. I had a grass fed burger that was really good. The place is cool inside and has a nice long table on the back porch. Every time I come here for lunch it makes me feel good, especially having to go finish my day at work.
I like that this place is only selling organic foods, I think more places should follow their lead BUT the lack of quality, quantity, and accuracy (not to mention the OUTRAGEOUS) prices are just not ignorable. I understand organic meat and produce is certainly not cheap, but when you pay $25 for a very small amount of food and then there is food you paid extra for that is missing from the order, then that is a problem. Ordered my daughter the chicken and cheese quesadilla, no cheese on quesadilla. They also did not put the fruit cup it is suppose to come with in the bag. Unacceptable, I won’t be back with prices like that and lack of accuracy in the order.
Just ok…. I stopped in for lunch with my husband last week, but we both left thinking our lunch was just ok. I had the Earthquake and he had a Mediterranean Salad. Neither of us were too impressed. I think we will be sticking with other lunch options in town. We had high hopes for the Cafe Organic, but unfortunatly they just didn’t deliver.
I had their Thai Wrap, and my boyfriend had their Southwestern Wrap, and we each got a drink. Everything was delicious and awesome. I hadn’t had vegan food eating out like this since I lived in NY. 10/10 will eat here again
Delicious Power Lunch – high on taste & atmosphere. Nice creative menu. It’s 25% costlier than Panera and it’s 500% better quality. I had tuna salad wrap and the flavor combination was excellent. Portion sizes weren’t huge but we felt peppy & satisfied all day. Smoothies and juices were a bit pricey (double a starbuck’s drink) but they have an incredible juicer that leaves a lot of whole fiber in the juice. Nutritional value is no doubt a lot better than juice from a jug, and once again they put a lot of thought into the flavor..Interior is a charming combination of hippy zen and industrial chic, with lots of creative painting and Ikea lighting. Spotlessly clean tables, bathrooms, and floor.5 star!!Just off Racetrack Rd in FWB – turn south off Racetrack onto Truxton (east of Choctaw plaza) …it’s 2 blocks down.
